1. Manager’s Course

Duration of 12 months. Qualification: XII standard passed or graduate. Medium of Teaching: English, Hindi. Stipend will be provided as per  K.V.I.C rules. Course starts in, every year. By selection,preference will be given to deputed candidate who are being sponsored through Co.Op.Societies or by entrepreneurs.


2. Conversion Courses

Duration of 2 months. Qualification: VII standard passed. Medium of Language: Marathi. Stipend will paid to candidates as per  K.V.I.C rules, Course starts in month of April, July, October of every year. By selection, preference will be given to deputed candidate who are being sponsored through coop.Society or Entrepreneur.
Application should be submitted to the district village Industries officer of that particular district.


3. Entrepreneur Courses

The person who wish to start a handmade paper unit then this course gives opportunity to get preliminary information like chemical raw material, machinery & process etc. within a month by paying fees of RS 5000/-p.m & The person who wish to start a conversion unit a special course in conversion of duration 15th days is also carried out by paying fees of RS 3000/-

Handmade Paper Industry

In a medium handmade paper unit per day about 250kg. paper can be manufactured requirements of handmade paper industry are as follow:

1. About 1/2 to 1 Acre N.A Land suitable for building construction.

2. About 3500 to 4000 sq.ft building for factory.

3. About 50,000 liters water for daily use.

4. Transport facility.

5.Workshop nearby for repairing and maintenance of the machines.

6. About 50 to 60 H.P Electric supply.


The raw material depends upon the variety of paper to be manufactured. However, white and coloured cotton linter etc. are used as raw material. In this industry different varieties of papers like drawing paper, cardsheet file cover, decorative paper, filter pads leather boards etc. can be manufactured writing and printing paper is not economical in this sector because mill made paper is cheaper and available is more quantity. The machinery and equipments required for this industry are available in India. About 40 to 50 workers can be employed.
